Years as a Lineman: 10 years

The decision to become a lineman was an easy one for
James Chapman. His great-grandfather, grandfather, father
and uncle all were linemen and he proudly continues
the family tradition today. As a journeyman at Amicalola
EMC, James believes in doing his job safely to serve
the power needs of his community in Dahlonega, Georgia.
"I love being a lineman, I think I do my best
to honor the lineman title, it is all I have ever wanted
to do since I was a kid," stated James.
